Église de l’Assomption The Northwest Coast

Facing across the valley towards its Greek counterpart, barely 100m west, Cargèse’s Catholic church dates from earlier in the 19th century. Its matching set of murals, though, were painted in the 1970s, by a pair of visiting Russian artists.
