Wat Nikrodharam Kedah

Although Alor Setar has weathered periods of Thai rule over the years, its main Buddhist community is Chinese in heritage. Thus the presence of this cross-cultural wat (Buddhist temple): typically Thai in structure yet scattered with Chinese Buddhist saints of importance to the Chinese donors who funded the construction of the complex. The wat is located between Telok Wanjah and Jln Stadium, close to the roundabout.
