Rakiura Museum Fiordland & Southland

Historic photographs are the stars of this small museum focused on local natural and human history, and featuring Māori artefacts, whaling gear and household items. Cash only. Big plans are in the works for a revamped, state-of-the-art Rakiura Museum to open on Main Rd, next to the DOC office, in mid-2020.
