Phaeno Lower Saxony & Bremen

The glass-and-concrete building that houses this brilliant and engaging science centre was designed by the late British-Iraqi architect Dame Zaha Hadid. Inside are over 300 hands-on physics exhibits and experiments (with instructions and explanations in both German and English), great for inquisitive minds, young and old. It's right next to the train station.
