Palácio Conde dos Arcos Goiás

The restored colonial governor’s residence is a very handsome piece of work. The guided tour (English usually spoken) takes in antique furniture, a curious triangular courtyard and lots of information about the history of the town and the building. It still gets to be a seat of power when the state capital transfers back here every July.
