Nine O'Clock Gun Vancouver

An old British canon that was installed in Stanley Park to help locals keep time over a century ago, this near-legendary gun is still fired off at precisely 9pm every evening. Formerly fired manually, it's now primed every afternoon and set off by electronic timer. Listen out for it at the appointed time if you're in this part of the city.
