Loggia Rethymno

This nicely restored 16th-century landmark originally served as a meeting house for Venetian nobility to discuss politics and money, and morphed into a mosque during the Turkish era. Arcaded on three sides, it now houses a shop selling replicas of ancient statuary. Head inside to pick up a brochure detailing the building's storied history.
