Borra Caves Telangana & Andhra Pradesh

Illuminated with fancy lighting, the huge million-year-old limestone Borra Caves are 38km before Araku town and can be combined with a visit to the Araku Valley. Stairways penetrate the caves, but they can get very crowded, especially on Sundays. Watch out for monkeys. You'll find snack stands close to the entrance; try the bamboo chicken.
