Alexandra Battery Bermuda

This 1840s fort, with its four immense surviving guns, overlooks a particularly picturesque stretch of coast from its vantage point on the southeast tip of St George's island. The Sea Venture was shipwrecked just offshore in 1609, and the Deliverance and Patience were built in Buildings Bay right next to the fort – now a sheltered little bay for swimming.
